What application does this crash affect
What version of Kubuntu were you running?
What version of KDE?
What version of that Application?
What did you do _exactly_ to trigger the crash?

Please also try whether this still applies for KDE 4.

knode 0.10.9
ubuntu 8.04 amd64
kde 3.5.9
knode 0.10.9

1) Run knode with any news servers / groups subscribed to
2) Open some group
3) select some post in it
4) *quickly* select other group, and other, and yet another (keep clicking with mouse)
5) repeat steps 2) - 4) about 3 to 10 times
6) crash
