Bug Description

Message column goes crazy with qt 4.3.3 (sip 4.7.3, PyQt4 4.3.3). Date and Author columns are outside window.

I can make screenshot.

100% fixed after changing qt library version from 4.3.3 to 4.3.4 (4.3.4-r1 in gentoo box).

I guess this was reported before by Gary van der Merwe in our ML.
I'm not sure what we should do about this.

Lukáš, can we detect version of PyQt used and provide some safe workaround?

I just want to note that I don't have this problem with PyQt-4.3.1 on Windows XP.
I'll try with 4.3.3.

And I have the same bug with PyQt-4.3.3-2.
Seems like exactly this version of PyQt has some weird bug.

So it's not QBzr bug per se?

yes and no. Very annoying thing is that qt 4.3.3 marked as stable and production-ready in many distributives, while 4.3.4 is not. E.g. - gentoo.

So, this is probably PyQt4 issue. But where is no 4.3.4 version of PyQt4, only 4.3.3.. pretty strange :)

I'll experiment a bit. If where is no way to carefully fix this against 4.3.3 qt - I'll notice that here.
