Bug Description

Binary package hint: ntfsprogs

Ubuntu 8.04
ntfsprogs 2.0.0-1ubuntu2

After installing ntfsprogs it can't be found until the user realises that ntfsprogs is not a package at all but a meta-package. It would be easier if there was a manual or help entry which turned up when searching to explain this. Or even a script which ran from as $ ntfsprogs and simply output a message with version info and included packages.

ntfsprogs isn't a meta package. It has many binaries and their associated man pages.

See the following link for the a list of files in the package.

@zoredache: thanks for the clarification. But my bug is still that ntfsprogs itself has no man page or anything discoverable.

The package contains all of the appropriate documentation, including man pages.
