Bug Description

URL: http://trac.zeitherrschaft.org/aldrin

Description:

Aldrin is an open source modular music sequencer/tracker for the GNU/Linux operating system. It features a flexible audio routing system commonly found in expensive audio software, enabling you to mix, split, mutilate and modify audio signals emitted by software synthesizers and samples.

Aldrin is currently in beta stage, but fully functional. Feel free to try and use it.

Aldrin is based on the "Buzz" modular synthesizer, which was popular in the late 90's early 2000's - till the project got lost.
Aldrin brings back Buzz.

Not packaged, so too early to request a backport.

Hello,

The code has moved to : http://www.bitbucket.org/paniq/aldrin/src/
Aldrin needs also the Armstrong library which is here : http://www.bitbucket.org/paniq/armstrong/

Tree MendUs, what did you mean by "Not packaged" ? Both Aldrin and Armstrong have official releases*. And there are some packages available for Ubuntu, although they are not included in the repositories.

* The official releases are old. But the development versions (accessible with mercury) are VERY stable. I think some packages in Ubuntu are from CVS builds, so do you think it would be possible to include latest hg builds in Ubuntu (not saying you should do it, I'm ready to fly into this).
