Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

After accidentally switching on Window-positioning, my Window-openings are just messed up.
I cant switch it off anymore. If i do so, Windows appear in the uppest left corner. Uppest in this case means without the Title bar! I cant drag them because there is no Frame to grab on.
When i tell the upper panel to hide, windows open up even further in nowhere, just that i cant grab them.

My solution now is to have Window positioning in centered mode. Unpleasant!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
