It's been removed because unmaintained upstream:

samba (3.0.25c-1) unstable; urgency=low

Sigh.. I was assuming the changelog link on the packages website pointed
to the most recent changelog. Instead I was looking at an older
changelog that didn't contain that message.

It stinks that it's gone from upstream.. Time to salmon up and see whats
going on @ debian.

The Samba team doesn't maintain it anymore. Debian just dropped it
because of this. You'd better off asking the Samba team.

I compiled it, it segfaulted a lot.. probably a reason it's abandoned...

Now I just need somebody to swig up python-smbclient :)
