Bug Description

Binary package hint: showimg

Fedora has applied showimg-0.9.5-gcc43.patch. This patch allows showimg to be built with gcc 4.3. It has not been applied as of version 0.9.5-1.1ubuntu2.

Patch has been applied in Debian and will be moved into Ubuntu via merge.

As I am unable to merge showimg from Debian at this time due to KDE3.5 libs not being available in Intrepid (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/showimg/+bug/258593). I am marking this bug as confirmed and assigning myself to upload the patch into the current version of showimg.

This package has been dropped from Intrepid and gcc43 is not relevant to Hardy. Marking as invalid.
