Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

When I select "Pounce When Buddy... Sends a message" the "Send a message" action is disabled for no apparent reason. All other "Pounce When Buddy..."-options work, it's just the "Sends a message" one that causes this irrational behavior.

Hi, thanks for the report. Can you still reproduce this bug? If so, please run pidgin in debug mode (pidgin --debug > pidgin-debug.txt), reproduce, and attach the file. Feel free to mask sensitive information, if any.

Also do a backtrace (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace), and attach to this report.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am experiencing the same behavior with pidgin 2.6.5 on Ubuntu 9.10 on kernel 2.6.31-17-generic i686. I have attached the debug output, and the backtrace. Hope that helps
