Bug Description

Binary package hint: nfs-common

Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04

nfs-common:
  Installed: 1:1.1.2-2ubuntu2.1
  Candidate: 1:1.1.2-2ubuntu2.1
  Version table:

I have a NFS disk which is automounted. Randomly, when I run a script which access to this disk, my system partially freezes, ie. I cannot open new applications and the gnome panel is no more usable (clicking on it does nothing), but I can still use the already opened applications. I expect to not have my system freezing when I access to a NFS storage ;-)

dmesg gives:

Hi Thomas, please see the 214810 bug and the workaround we're using (using the Intrepid kernel)
