Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-media

This error appears while trying to hear what was recorded with gnome-sound-recorder 2.22.0.

This might be alsa related. I cannot play anything after flashplayer have been ued or I played epighany-game.
Normally I can play simultaneously several sources of audio like mplayer, totem and gstreamer, but when want to hear something from a website through flashplayer I must terminate all audio apps, then restart my browser (latest Forefox 3.0 or Galeon)to be ableto hear anything. After hearing from that source if I want to play music I need to kill browser and restart music-app and so forth.
In other words flash libraries don't like gstreamer and/or mplayer.

My Ubuntu is always up-to-date and the problem appeared after upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04 - Hardy Heron.

I'm having the same problem...and like the author, I had no problems like this until upgrading to Hardy Heron.

this is not a gnome-media bug and needs to be reassigned.

this is almost certainly a pulse-audio issue, I have marked it as such.
