Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox
The link below causes an ok/cancel box to pop up. Whichever option is chosen the box pops-up again and again and there appears to be no way to escape other than to kill firefox.

If the problem also occurs on windows machines then it may be a security vulnerability because it will probably get the user to download the .exe

I retried the link, and the behaviour is different: it's possible to close the tab. Unfortunately, I don't know how I ended up on that page so reproducibility is a problem.
However, I did take a screenshot first time around. Note the "Click OK to start download CRITICAL..." box. That's the one that wouldn't go away.
