Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

The link below causes an ok/cancel box to pop up. Whichever option is chosen the box pops-up again and again and there appears to be no way to escape other than to kill firefox.

*** Warning*** If you visit the link, you'll probably need to restart firefox.

If the problem also occurs on windows machines then it may be a security vulnerability because it will probably get the user to download the .exe

I retried the link, and the behaviour is different: it's possible to close the tab. Unfortunately, I don't know how I ended up on that page so reproducibility is a problem.

However, I did take a screenshot first time around. Note the "Click OK to start download CRITICAL..." box. That's the one that wouldn't go away.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your bugreport. Since this seems to be an issue with
version 3 of the firefox browser, I'm reassigning the package.
