Bug Description

Binary package hint: kipi-plugins

The PicasaWebExport kipi-plugin don't work to upload any pictures to a picasaweb album. It's a known bug and is supposed to be fixed in 0.1.6-beta1. I propose the fix to be backported to kipi-plugins 0.1.5.
I'm using Kubunty Hardy (up to date)

From a mail from the Digikam-users maillist:

this have been fixed in current kipi-plugins 0.1.6-beta1.

This and other bugs is fixed in 0.1.6 that got out today. Snip from the mail:

Kipi-plugins BUG FIX from KDE bugzilla:

001 ==> 162687 : FlickrExport : Make Flickr Export screen non-modal.
002 ==> 162683 : FlickrExport : Export to picassaweb doesn't works.
003 ==> 164152 : FlickrExport : Geotagging when exporting to Flickr.
004 ==> 166712 : PrintWizard : Choosing the part which is cut off for printing only works for the first photo.
005 ==> 162994 : PicasaWebExport : Picasa album list does not contain "not listed" albums, contains only "public" albums.
006 ==> 150912 : PicasaWebExport : Uploader does not upload.
007 ==> 164908 : PicasaWebExport : Private albums are not listed (and then not usable).
008 ==> 150979 : PicasaWebExport : Picasa Export-Plugins does not work.

I really hope this will be fixed for Hardy now as pathes has been available for several months.

Thanks

There is very low probability that this will be backported to Hardy. Can you test Intrepid version and/or KDE4 version of KIPI-Plugins (available in Jaunty and digikam-experimental PPA for Intrepid).

Still don't work in Intrepid. I would really like to test digikam-experimental but cant. I added the PPA but it must be some dependencies error in the Intrepid package because it want to pull in some kdelibs (4.1.96) from Jauntu.

This is fixed in Jaunty, but users will have to upgrade to KDE4 version.
