Even though the error above might suggest that the problem is caused by the linux-restricte d-modules, the error below shows that the kernel (linux- image-2. 6.26-2- generic) wasn't installed correctly (because of /sbin/update-grub) thus preventing the linux-restricte d-modules from being installed.
