Hedgewars not appear in menu

Binary package hint: hedgewars

I installed this game but it not appear in the menu (Gnome).

this problem is gnome problem:

update-menus starded when hedgewars installed:

I can confirm this problem on Ubuntu 8.10

This is not just a gnome problem. I can confirm that no menu item is created when installing on KDE either.

Tested with Kubuntu 8.10 and 9.04a4.

Hedgewars has added a desktop file in upstream svn. See commit:

  * Allows Hedgewars to be found in menus. (LP: #247624)
   - Backport .desktop file from upstream svn.
   - Backport hedgewars.png from upstream svn.
    + Convert to xpm so it can be represented in the dff.gz
