Update to Intrepid leads to sshmenu and sshmenu-gnome failure to start

Bug Description

Binary package hint: sshmenu

I recently updated from Hardy to Intrepid on a testing box.
sshmenu and sshmenu-gnome stopped working after upgrade with the following error:

/usr/bin/ruby: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/i486-linux/gtk2.so: undefined symbol: gtk_file_system_error_quark

Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10

sshmenu:
