Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

After the most recent Ubuntu Ubuntu 8.04 - the Hardy Heron - released April 2008, and Firefox 3.0 updates to a fully satisfactory system, I have 60-120 seconds of disk activity as I surf the web. During the activity, Firefox is frozen. Neither the system logs nor the process table show anything unusual. The disk action occurs only during Firefox access to the Internet.

Many thanks.

V/R,

DC
