Bug Description

i'm trying to run intrepid alpha 1 in sun xvm virtualbox. when booting the alternate boot cd, after confirming "install ubuntu", i get exactly the following error:

after turning off acpi, an additional message comes after the error message:

the number of "<1> BUG: unable to handle kernel" seems to vary on every boot...
