Bug Description
When I booted this morning a routine drive check came up. So a message appeared at the bottom of the screen
Routine check of drive /dev/sda7
Press ESC to abort 9% (stage 1/5) completed
or similar. However, after at some point this was interrupted by a message about ntpd starting or stopping. The output the looked like
Routine check of drive /dev/sda7
Press ESC to abort 9% (st
Stoppin NTP server ntpd 13% (stage 1/5) completed
and the same happened once again giving
Routine check of drive /dev/sda7
Press ESC to abort 9% (st
Stopping NTP server ntpd 13% (
Starting NTP server ntpd 55% (stage 1/5) completed
which I guess is not the right behaviour. i.e. either the ntp message should not come up (why does it, actually?) or the percentage update should always continue in the right place and not on the NTP line...
Confirming on Hardy.
