Actually, to reproduce this bug, simply access the members section. If it goes to a black window, which then displays a log in screen, the bug has not happened on your machine. If it does not, and leads to another section of the site, which states that you are at that page due to not being able to run Signed Java Applets, you've experienced the bug. At that page, the game can be accessed, but only in a low detail version. Attached is my copy of the bug, I have one very similar. Hopefully it helps.

It seems that bug report is from a different bug. I've since fixed that one. I don't know what's causing the crash now.

I suppose it is something to do with the Video driver.
I have 2 different systems with the same release of Ubuntu.

One is with NVidia video driver and single core processor. Runescape is running.
Other with ATI video driver dual core processor. OpenGL crashes.

See attached log.

Dear Csaba,

Thanks for the info. Indeed my system also has an AMD graphics card.
Will give it a try with my work latop, which has a crippled Intel
integrated card.
