Brasero start and system freeze

Bug Description

When I start Brasero, my system freeze after few minutes.
I can't do anything, the mouse and keyboard don't work, i must restart the PC with the reset-button.
In the Attachment is the output of the command "brasero -g".

My System:
Ubuntu 8.04.1
Brasero 0.7.1-3ubuntu1

CD/DVD Writer:
LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B

there's nothing in the log that may indicate that it's a brasero bug, can you attach your xorg log ?
