Bug Description

Binary package hint: wine

Even after changing C: Drive path to something else, (say /home/foo/bar), the "Browse C:\ Drive" launcher still opens /home/foo/.wine/drive_c folder.
The launcher should be modified with change in C: Drive

This is not a duplicate of bug #223989. Bug #223989 is that the "Browse C:\ Drive" menu item doesn't work (in some distributions) with the *default* Wine configuration. In this bug the user expects that the menu item be updated when *changing* Wine configuration.

One workaround for this bug is to (as root) edit the wine-browsedrive.desktop file in /usr/share/applications and change its Exec= line to point to your new location; but that might break for other users of the same computer. The simpler workaround is to manually navigate to the new location in your file manager of choice.

The launcher should be pointing to ~/.wine/dosdevices/c:, which should always point to whatever the correct c:\ drive is. That's addressed in the other bug report, I believe.
