checkroot.sh message too long for usplash

Bug Description

Binary package hint: sysvinit

The message "On battery power, so skipping file system check." is long enough that when usplash output continues some of the message is left as artifacts outside the normal usplash message area. It'd be best if the message were shorter or wrapped so that these artifacts are not displayed.

I checked the source code in package version 2.86.ds1-59ubuntu1 for Intrepid to confirm that this is still an issue.

We no longer use either usplash or the sysvinit checkroot.sh script. If this problem is reproducible with mountall and plymouth, please reopen and reassign to mountall.
