Please Backport smartmontools 5.38 from intrepid to hardy/gutsy

Hi,
The current version of package smartmontools in hardy is 5.37 and in Intrepid it is 5.38.
ver 5.37 was released on Dec,2006, which is very old & obsolete.

Package has rdepends. Please test with these and make sure they still work:
$ apt-cache rdepends smartmontools
reverse Depends:
munin-node
smart-notifier

I've tried munin-node with plugin "smart_" and "hddtemp_smartctl" that use smartctl and they work fine!
I've also tested smart-notifier running smartd with the option "-M test" that causes smartd to send a test error message: this message is correctly displayed by smart-notifier dialog!
