Bug Description
The Ralink rt2860sta wireless chipset devices are still not supported despite public GPL'd Linux drivers being publicly available at http://
I'm not entirely sure what is the problem at this point. The supplied code on the website compiles and works perfectly fine when you do it yourself.
It's GPL'd code, it works. What exactly are we waiting for?

This was included in the mainline kernel in 2.6.24. As of 2.6.25.10 it's still experimental... You should have a kernel module called rt2x00lib.ko in your system...

rt2x00 enters mainline kernel - January 2008
Hi All,
two days ago, January 24th, Linux Kernel 2.6.24 was released. This is the first mainline kernel that includes (sadly a somewhat buggy) rt2x00 release.
Our rt2x00 driver has reached a broader audience, and we all wish to congratulate the developers and most importantly all of our users who provided numerous bug reports and even fixes.
Now, lets continue to work towards a stabler driver!
