After upgrade to 0.2.1 panel does not react

After the recent upgrade to 0.2.1 avant window navigator freezes after startup.

awn-manager works fine, its just the panel that does not reacto to mouse overs or mouse clicks. It just hangs around doing nothing.

This is what is shown on the console:

Hi Wolf and Brian, thanks for using Ubuntu and thanks for taking the time to file this bug report! This bug has already been filed and as such I have marked it as a duplicate, please read the other bug for a fix, and to see if there is anything you can add to it. Thanks again!
