Bug Description

Binary package hint: lftp

I started up a FTP server running proftpd. When I last time tried to upload a directory onto the server, the ``mirror -R'' command behaved strangely.

lftp MYSERVER:/incoming> mirror -R mkv+mp4/
mirror: Access failed: 550 /incoming/mkv+mp4: No such file or directory
1 error detected

I have the upload permission in incoming. Uploading with ``put'' works right:

lftp MYSERVER:/incoming> put freq.png
32896 bytes transferred

It seems that it did not recognize the -R option for mirror.
Such problem hasn't been seen, at least by me, before Hardy.

I didn't modify /etc/lftp.conf but made a modification in /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf(attached) in order to create an ``incoming'' directory.

Sorry... I forgot to allow my user to create new directories thus led to this problem. It's not the problem of lftp. Please close this non-bug report.
