Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
Ok, This might be a known bug, but I could not find it listed here, so here it goes. (Ubuntu official 8.04 binary i386 with all the updates as of 4 July 2008)
Nautilus->show thumbnails: (local files only); only for file size less than (10MB)
Nautilus does not show thumbnails for some picture files stored in the local file system. The thumbnails of these problematic files are shown only if I view them with Eye of GNOME 2.22.2, then refresh Nautilus.
those picture files without thumbnails have sizes from 500kB to 2MB, and in file format of jpeg, png
All picture files are in default PICTURE directory under the places, and should have same permissions as I saved pictures from Firefox 3
Thanks for the outstanding software and supports!
