Bug Description
I may be simply incompetent, but...
I'm on Breezy. I went to System-
the window/desktop themes; unfortunately, under Crux and Mist (as well as all of
the themes in gnome-themes-
files. I checked System-
"Show Text in Icons" is set to "always". Images, PDFs, and sound files preview
fine (well, the sound files are a little flaky, but that's another bug), but
under the Crux/Mist themes, the text file icons are devoid of text, though the
icon shows.
Miscellany:
I'm running with video hardware acceleration disabled.
Breezy AMD64 on HP zv6130 laptop
I tested this on a Hoary i386 system and text preview works under "Crux",
whatever it's labelled under that distro. ("Default Gnome Theme") ?
Tested Crux only on a Breezy i386 Live CD on another computer, and no text
appears in the mentioned previews
