Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Hi.

I cannot display correctly this page
http://beppegrillo.meetup.com/10/boards/thread/4999673/0/

Here it is a screenshot showing the way I see it
http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/6789/screenshotnonsicapiscensu9.png

Both images and text disappear on the right side of that page. Internet Explorer shows it correctly.

Hello manolo,

this site uses a different style sheet for Internet Explorer:
--- html begins ---
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://static1.meetupstatic.com/style/745431214518366/base.css" type="text/css" />

<!--[if lt IE 8]>
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://static1.meetupstatic.com/style/28191213914383/base_ie.css" type="text/css" />
 <![endif]-->
--- html ends ---

Furthermore the CSS is not valid: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fstatic1.meetupstatic.com%2Fstyle%2F745431214518366%2Fbase.css&profile=css21&usermedium=all&warning=1&lang=en

Therefore I would say that this is not a fault of firefox...

Greets

Franz

BTW, I've tested the site with Firefox 2.0.0.14, there it works...
Because the CSS is not valid I don't know if it is a bug in Firefox 3.
The best thing would be, if they use a valid style sheet. The design doesn't look too complicated for me for a standard (not browser optimized) style sheet.

 Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
