Bug Description
I installed freepops 0.2.7 from intrepid's repository, but when i open my mail client (thunderbird 2.0.0.14) it prompt an error from server localhost: "UNKNOWN ERROR: PLEASE FIX".
Then I tried installing the packages provided at freepops.org and maintened by "blackmoon", and all went ok, i could receive my mail as always.
Now I will try to compile by myself the sources (with openssl, then with gnutls) and I shall see if is that the problem.
EDIT/UPDATE:
I compiled by myself sources taken from freepops.org, and everything went ok, with both the openssl and the gnutls version.

Same error message here, but after rebuilding the intrepid version on hardy, it still fails. I also tried the freepops.org ubuntu package, and get the same error message. I had to install the thunderbird webmail and webmail-yahoo extensions to get yahoo working again. What happened? Could it be related to yahoo changing their accounts again??
It would be nice to get a freepops backported to hardy (since it's a 3 year release).
