Application switcher window previews are blank

With desktop effects enabled, Alt+Tab displays the application switcher, which should show previews of open windows. Instead, the window content areas of the window previews are plain white. The attachment shows this.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

I still have this issue with 8.04. I can try an upgrade to 8.10 at some point, but this is a production workstation so I'm not sure when I might have the chance to do that.

This bug should be fixed in newer releases. Please reopen if you can reproduce with 9.04 or 9.10.
