Hi Ron, thanks for using Ubuntu and thanks for taking the time to file this bug report! What an interesting issue. This problem sounds more like an electrical interference problem than a bug in Ubuntu, but you never know. I see you filed this against Firefox, are you saying it only happens when using Firefox? Is it consistent and reproducible? Thanks for this info!
