Bug Description

I get a lot of:

Jul 2 10:31:40 acerbus kcheckpass[27305]: pam_smbpass(kscreensaver:auth): unrecognized option [missingok]
Jul 2 10:31:40 acerbus kcheckpass[27305]: pam_smbpass(kscreensaver:auth): Cannot access samba password database, not running as root.

in my logs ever since the upgrade from gutsy to hardy. These happen when I unlock kscreensaver.

Maybe this should be assigned to the samba package, which is the source package for libpam-smbpass.
The problem is the warning about a "unrecognized option".

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

pam_smbpass has never supported a missingok option afaik, so I think the question is: how did the missingok option end up in your configuration?
