Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchm

If you tell xchm to open the help file from Python 3.0b1 then xchm coredumps. You can get the file by installing the Windows version of Python 3.0b1 in the Doc subdirectory. I have also attached a copy. Also attached is the gdb backtrace.

I have not experienced xchm crashing on any other file included the Python 3.0 alpha 5 help file.

Are you running 32 bit or 64 bit? I am the latter so that may be the cause. I just did all my updates and the issue still happens.

xchm still crashes in Intrepid. It also crashes on the Python 2.6 xchm file.
