Unable to use Sage or Sage-too add-on

Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Package: 3.0+nobinonly-
I can install either (or both) of the plugins Sage and Sage-too but I have no way of using them. There is no sage icon in the navigation bar and sage doesn't appear int he Tools drop-down menu. The sidebar can be seen by entering this url: chrome:
I had been able to use this previously with FF3. I believe that was with package 3.0~b5+
I have been unable to find a workaround for this problem, however,

Where did you get the Sage packages from? What versions are you trying
to use?
