i'm use (Warzone 2100 - Version TRUNK r3595 - Built Feb 13 2008 ) on Ubuntu 8.04 32bit

Funny bug. But it is not recommended to use the outdated version that comes with Ubuntu. Instead you should consider using latest stable release 2.0.10 or latest beta (2.1 Beta 2). See the homepage for further information.

Try to reproduce this bug in a current (not 2.0.10!) version and the developers surely will take care of it.

Nevertheless, this bug is applicable as it is the current version in Ubuntu 8.04.

To the reporter: please check all of the menus under the options menu to see if there is a way to disable Warzone 2100 from displaying the version/trunk number or something similar. Run Warzone from the command line with no options (just enter the command warzone2100). Paste the output here and note if the bug is still present. Thanks in advance.

Disable any option that refers to displaying the build date, if possible.
