Bug Description

Binary package hint: gplcver

I have been running Ubuntu 8.04, "Hardy Heron", right from the day it was released. I recently encountered a bug in the package gplcver 2.12a-1, available from the "Universe" repository of Ubuntu.

The program gplcver dumps the variable values to another file, most of the time with name ".vcd", than the one specifically named inside the code which cver compiles

For instance if I had a line like
$dumpfile("my_vcd_file.vcd");
inside the file I am compiling, gplcver dumps the data to a file ".vcd" rather than dumping to my_vcd_file.vcd

Hardy is EOL. Is this still an issue for you with a newer and supported Ubuntu version?
