konqueror crashes while configuring file associations for plain text

steps:
open konqueror
-> settings
-> file management
-> file associations
-> text
-> plain
-> select Kate
-> edit...
-> try to change "kate --use %U" to "kate --use %u" and apply settings -> crash occurs

After a bit of trying I manage to reproduce this in KDE 4 using Dolphin.

This backtrace is unrelated (and this bug in Strigi is now resolved).

Also, posting backtraces without installing the debug symbols before is just useless.

Is this still an issue with KDE 4.1.1 or greater? I cannot reproduce this bug in an up-to-date Intrepid install.
