Bug Description

Hello.

I wanted to test Intrepid Alpha 1 AMD64 iso image in a KVM virtual machine.

But every single I tried to boot on it, nothing happened. So, I installed a command line version of Hardy Heron, and upgrade it to Intrepid Ibex.

And every single time I try to boot on 2.6.26.2 kernel, I got this :

crc error.

-- system halted.

Using -no-acpi option on KVM command line don't change anything. Still busted :(

Would you please either try the no-kvmclock kernel option in the VM or use kvm 1:62+dfsg-0ubuntu8 (currently in hardy-proposed) on your host system? If it solves the issue, this bug is indeed a duplicate of #243667. If not, please report here.
