Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager-gnome

Ubuntu 8.04 - nm-applet 0.6.6
I am aware that bugs were reported in Gutsy about nm-applet redrawing too frequently and thus flashing on top of other things, notably xscreensaver. Now instead of *really, really* fast, the applet appears to redraw itself only about once per second in Hardy. So, every second, the nm-applet icon appears in the upper right quadrant of the Blender window, if it isn't already there. I will take a peek at the code when I get around to it...
Note: This seems to happen, not only in Blender, but in all fullscreen programs that use OpenGL.
