Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-guidance-powermanager

HP dv6780ew, Hardy

guidance-power-manager shows proper state of battery when AC is plugged.

However, when I unplug AC, it shows 100% charged battery *and AC plugged*, while battery is discharging (and AC is unplugged of course).

Final result is that laptop is silently turning off.

I think this is the same as bug 213128. Can you check if you get the same symptoms and results for the commands requested there?
