Bug Description

First of all I wasn't sure which gio package to put this bug under.

I don't have libgio-dev installed but still able to use the function g_file_new_for_path which should be in the same file as g_file_query_file_type. I greped and g_file_query_file_type doesn't exist. http://library.gnome.org/devel/gio/unstable/GFile.html#g-file-query-file-type shows that it should exist.

Also when trying to install libgio-dev to see if it corrects the issue I got this error.
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libgio-dev_0.1.2-0ubuntu1_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/pkgconfig/gio-2.0.pc', which is also in package libglib2.0-dev
