Bug Description
In the standard ubuntu if you unmount a device it appears a notification box "you can remove the device" or "wait I'm write your data.." but with netbook remix it doesn't happen. It's a dangerous bug because there's the risk of losing some data. I'm sorry I don't have the English version of ubuntu so I can't put the right messages.
It can help even the notifications from gnome-power-manager don't appear. I've enabled them through gconf-editor.

I'm confirming this but it needs furthur investigation. I cannot get these notifications on my desktop any more, so I'm wondering if it was a gnome-vfs/gvfs thing. Can someone confirm if they still get these on hardy?
