Firefox crashes when viewing an .svg image

Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

OS: Ubuntu 8.04
Browser: Firefox 3

When I try to view this image: http://people.mozilla.com/~vladimir/demos/photos.svg
Firefox crashes. I can't view that image in any way.

This works for me in Ubuntu 7.10

It's works too for me too in Ubuntu 7.10 with firefox 2.0.0.6 Make sure that everything is ok with your browser.

Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on [WWW] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs, or upload (as an attachment) the crash report from /var/crash/.

Also, please answer these questions:
Is this crash reproducible? If so, which are the steps that lead to it?
Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which Firefox extensions do you have installed?

Flash package: Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124
Java package: Java-common 0.28ubuntu3
Firefox extensions: Chatzilla, Download statusbar, fission, Googlepreview, Open it online, Ubuntu firefox modifications, Undo closed tabs button.

When I use firefox with "firefox" command in the terminal, I get:

/usr/lib/firefox-3.0/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9/libxul.so: undefined symbol: cairo_path_extents

When trying to view the image.
