Bug Description
Binary package hint: evince
I had two PDFs open, one was relatively large the other not so. Both were produced using Latex 2e (then dvipdf). I'm not sure why it crashed. I've been following the procedure below for months:
- open the pdf in evince
- edit the tex file, compile and convert using dvipdf while the pdf was already open in evince
- launch evince with the pdf
note that i never quit evince in this process. It basically reloads the pdf in step 3. That's about all I can say about the crash.
I am using Hardy with compiz enabled.
