Gnome Applet should display the panel background when using a custom background image

Bug Description

When using a custom image as a background for the Gnome Panel, the rescuetime-uploader applet should display that background image behind any part of the applet that isn't the rescuetime icon.

I'm attaching a screenshot of what it looks like currently.
