Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Since Firefox 3.0 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061015 Firefox/3.0 in Hardy Heron I'm having problems using Gmail service.
Often I have a message "Oops!… the system encountered a problem (#102)" and I need to logout and login back to make it work normally.
I never had this problem using Firefox 3.0b5. I can make this problem happens when I want just by clicking on mail / conversation for 20 seconds.
When looking in the error console I see a lot of:
Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.

My ubuntu version is: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04
The distribution is fully updated.
The package version is: Firefox-3.0 3.0+nobinonly-
I'm expecting to have Gmail working, instead it loops trying to update forever and I need to log out and log on to make it work.
This has been happening to me as well. One solution I've found is using the old gmail interface (https:/ /mail.google. com/mail/ ?ui=1), but that hardly solves the problem. On the other hand, even if it's a temporary measure to avoid the bug rather than a means to solve it, perhaps the solution lies nigh.
