Bug Description
Binary package hint: showimg
I found that the application "showimg" (0.9.5-1.1ubuntu2) behaves incorrectly in Kubuntu Hardy while it worked fine in previous distributions. In particular, the thumbnails / icons suddenly disappear when the mouse pointer passes over them; they are temporarily restored when scrolling the thumbnails window. I noticed this after dist-upgrading to Hardy. Other graphic viewers work well.

I add that the problem affects both Kubuntu 8.04 and Kubuntu-KDE4 8.04 but not Kubuntu 7.10 or previous. You can easily check it by simply running the live CD then install and run the package showimg:
$ sudo apt-get install showimg
$ showimg
May be a Qt regression?
