Bug Description

Binary package hint: openvpn

Description: Ubuntu 8.04
Release: 8.04

----

openvpn:
  Installed: 2.1~rc7-1ubuntu3.3
  Candidate: 2.1~rc7-1ubuntu3.3
  Version table:
 *** 2.1~rc7-1ubuntu3.3 0

        500 http://security.ubuntu.com hardy-security/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2.1~rc7-1ubuntu3 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages

----

The Makefile /usr/share/doc/openvpn/examples/easy-rsa/2.0/Makefile expects a file "README" to be installed, but the README file is compressed and therefore is called "README.gz". The same problem is there for the file "openssl-0.9.6.cnf.gz" which is expected to be "openssl-0.9.6.cnf".

Thank you for your bug report. Though easy-rsa is not really installed and more provided as part of the openvpn docs, this should probably be fixed. One better way to do it would be to provide an easy-rsa package that would be installed properly and separately from the rest of openvpn...
