can't start - LibDvdRead.so: undefined symbol: Perl_Tstack_sp_ptr

when starting qvamps the following error occurs:

Looks like a version mismatch with the installed version of perl.

QVamps has been removed from Ubuntu for upcoming releases as it appears to have been abandoned by its authors and has serious bugs such as this one. Unfortunately this means that no further bugfixes nor improvements to QVamps will be made.
